In a move that could revolutionize the driving experience, General Motors (GM) is reportedly exploring the use of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence language model, in its vehicles.

GM is considering using ChatGPT, an AI language model, to allow drivers and passengers to interact with its infotainment system using natural language, according to GM Vice President Scott Miller. GM Vice President says ChatGPT is “going to be in everything”, including vehicles.

According to sources close to the project, GM is considering integrating ChatGPT into the infotainment system of its vehicles, allowing drivers and passengers to interact with the system using natural language.

This would mean that instead of using buttons or touchscreens, drivers could simply speak to their vehicle and get the information they need, such as directions to a destination, weather updates, or even recommendations for nearby restaurants.

ChatGPT, which was developed by OpenAI, is one of the most advanced language models currently available. It is capable of understanding and generating natural language text, making it an ideal candidate for use in a vehicle.

Additionally, ChatGPT could make driving more accessible to people with disabilities or those who have difficulty using traditional infotainment interfaces.

GM has not yet confirmed whether it will move forward with the project, but if it does, it could be a game-changer for the automotive industry. Imagine being able to have a conversation with your car, just as you would with a human passenger. It’s an exciting prospect and one that could be just a few years away from becoming a reality.

Overall, the potential of using ChatGPT in vehicles is tantalizing. We look forward to seeing what GM and other automakers will do with this cutting-edge technology in the years to come.
