Huawei has unveiled a range of new products at its latest launch event, including the Enjoy 60 smartphone, MatePad 11 (2023) tablet and FreeBuds 5 wireless earbuds.
Huawei Enjoy 60
Starting with the Enjoy 60, this budget-friendly device boasts a large 6,000mAh battery, a 6.75-inch TFT LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a 48MP primary camera. The phone runs on Harmony OS 3.0 and comes with a 22.5W charger in the box.
The chipset details are not yet known, but the phone is available with 128GB or 256GB storage options and can be purchased in Magic Night Black, Ice Crystal Blue and Dawn Gold colors. It will be priced at CNY 1,299 ($190) in China, with open sales starting on March 24.
Huawei MatePad 11 (2023)
Huawei has announced the launch of its latest tablet offering for 2023, the MatePad 11. The device is targeted at the midrange market and boasts an 11-inch IPS LCD with a 2560 × 1600px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet runs on the Snapdragon 870 chipset and comes with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB of storage. It is powered by the latest version of Huawei’s operating system, HarmonyOS 3.1.
The MatePad 11’s battery is 7,250 mAh and supports fast charging. It is available in a range of colors including Obsidian Black, Island Blue, Crystal White, and Streamer Purple.
The tablet is priced starting at CNY 2,199 ($322) and is set to go on sale in China from March 30th. Huawei hopes that the MatePad 11 will provide consumers with an affordable option that does not compromise on quality or performance.
Huawei FreeBuds 5
Finally, Huawei has introduced the FreeBuds 5 wireless earbuds, which boast a unique in-ear design without silicone tips. The buds feature L2HC and LDAC codecs for hi-res audio streaming, as well as spatial audio (on HarmonyOS 3 devices), active noise cancellation (ANC) and dynamic EQ tuning.
The earbuds pack 11mm LCP dual magnetic drivers and pair via Bluetooth 5.2 with support for multi-point pairing. They also offer touch controls and are IP54 dust and splash resistant. The buds can provide up to five hours of listening time, with the combined battery life rated at 30 hours with the charging case. The case supports both wired charging via USB-C and wireless charging. The FreeBuds 5 come in frost silver, ceramic white and coral orange colors and will be priced at CNY 899 ($132) in China.
