Get ready for the latest upgrade to ChatGPT, as Microsoft gears up to release GPT-4 with the potential to generate AI videos from simple text prompts. Andreas Braun, CTO of Microsoft Germany, made the announcement at the “AI in Focus – Digital Kickoff” event, revealing that the company will launch GPT-4 as early as next week.

GPT-4, the underlying technology that powers ChatGPT, has been the talk of the town lately. Currently, ChatGPT can only reply in text form, but the new update will bring about a significant change.

Microsoft’s GPT-4 will be “multimodal,” according to Holger Kenn, Director of Business Strategy at Microsoft Germany. The AI tool will be able to translate users’ text into images, music, and video, opening up a whole new world of possibilities. For example, a call center could use GPT-4 to automatically convert phone conversations between employees and customers into text, saving time and effort in summarizing calls.

The AI-generated video capability is not new, as Facebook owner, Meta already launched “Make-A-Video” last year, which creates realistic videos based on short text prompts. Microsoft’s GPT-4 will reportedly offer similar features.

The integration of ChatGPT into the Bing web browser was not discussed at the event, given the recent controversy surrounding it. However, the release of GPT-4 is highly anticipated, and people can’t wait to see what ChatGPT’s new version is capable of and whether it will fix any lingering issues.

In conclusion, the release of ChatGPT 4 with AI-generated video capabilities is a significant development in the world of AI technology. The potential to create videos from simple text prompts is an exciting prospect, and Microsoft’s GPT-4 is poised to make that a reality. Stay tuned for updates on ChatGPT’s latest version and its integration into various platforms.
