Huawei is set to launch its new foldable smartphone, the Mate X3, on March 23 in China. The event will start at 2:30 PM local time. While not much is known about the device, some information about its display has been revealed by DSCC’s CEO Ross Young.
According to CEO Ross Young of DSCC, the upcoming Huawei Mate X3 foldable smartphone will have a 7.85″ foldable display, slightly smaller than the Mate X2 screen, but the diagonal of the cover display will remain the same at 6.45″.
CEO Ross Young of DSCC has also stated that the upcoming Huawei Mate X3 foldable smartphone will be the company’s first phone to use Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), which will be manufactured by BOE.
Additional information about the Huawei Mate X3 may be revealed in the days leading up to the March 23 launch event, where the company will also unveil the P60 series.
