Lenovo is getting ready to launch a high-performance tablet called the Lenovo Legion Y700 in China. The tablet will come with advanced features such as a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, an OLED display, and a large 12,300mAh battery. It’s important to note that the Lenovo Legion Y900, which was previously launched globally as the “Lenovo Tab Extreme” at CES 2023, will also be released in China but with a different name.
Lenovo’s official Weibo account has announced that the Lenovo Legion Y900 will be launched in China on March 21st, 2023 at 7:00 PM local time. The brand also shared an image of the device, which looks similar to the previously released Lenovo Tab Extreme. The announcement confirms that the Lenovo Legion Y900 will come with the top-of-the-line MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.
The Lenovo Legion Y900 tablet features a large 14.5-inch OLED display with high resolution of 3000 x 1876 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The tablet supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It is powered by a Dimensity 9000 CPU, 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a large 12,300mAh battery. The gadget will be bundled with a 68W charger.
The Lenovo Tab Extreme has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the front with an RGB sensor. The rear panel of the tab has a 13-megapixel main camera with autofocus and a 5-megapixel auxiliary camera. The tablet also features octa JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos for audio. It measures 327.8 x 210.8 x 5.85mm in size and weighs around 740g.
